“WE TOO MUST PLAY OUR PART.” - SIR DAVID ATTENBOROUGH, UNITED NATIONS CLIMATE CHANGE CONFERENCE 2018
I believe in bold, bright and brilliantly positive interiors; spaces that put a smile on your face, a spring in your step and are a personal expression of those who inhabit them.
I also believe that we are off to environmental hell in a handcart and that it’s high time we applied the collective brakes.
My personal mission is to help curb interior consumerism. I promote creative conservation and ‘slow interiors’ by reviving and re-using existing furniture and materials and by giving my clients the confidence and opportunities to create their own, more lasting sense of style. This, more mindful approach, treats existing spaces with curiosity and respect, curbing the urge to ‘rip out and replace’ and approaching instead with an interested attitude of ‘what have we here?’
My interiors often feature native birds, animals and trees and I donate 10% of my profits to Rewilding Britain, a charity dedicated to the large scale restoration of ecosystems in the UK.
My designs are happy designs; ‘woke’ interiors generating positive community-wide benefits and accelerating our transition to the Circular Economy.
